Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimatelives up to its name. It’s a big mashup ofDynasty Warriors,Samurai Warriors,Ninja Gaiden,Dead or Alive,Soulcalibur, and Asian history and mythology. It’s all tied up in a weird plot that leads to its huge 145-character roster mashing through hordes of enemies to achieve one goal or another.

Players can boost their characters’ stats by collecting EXP scrolls, getting new weapons by earning gems or picking up boxes from fallen foes, or by merging one weapon with another at the blacksmiths. Each weapon has a different set of attributes that can benefit the player in battle. Some attributes are better for some characters than others, but these are the best of the bunch.
11Verity
Verity isn’t the most necessary feature to go for. It’s a Gold Ability and doesn’t pop up until later in the game or on harder difficulties. It’s just one for fans of the Samurai Warriors cast and gameplay. On low health, their Musou attacks get anextra super movecalled a True Musou that does more damage.
Still, it’s rough that players have to be near-death to activate it. Stick the Verity attribute on their weapon, and they’ll be able to do a True Musou attack regardless of their health. TheDynasty Warriorscharacters just get an attack boost, which they can get much more easily from the Courage, Frenzy, or Destruction attributes.

10Guerdon
This one appears fairly early in the game and is a good one to focus on in the early stages. Once equipped, it’ll enable gems to appear from any fallen enemy. In-game, it says they only come from officers, but in practice, they come from regular grunts too.
The ability can also be stacked too; the more Guerdons added, the stronger and more effective it gets. So, it’s very handy when the player’s grinding for gems to buy weapons or other attributes. It’s less handy in the late stages once they’ve got the perfect setup for their team, but it’ll help get them to that level.

9Diligence
When starting out, the Wisdom attribute is a good one to go for. It causes extra EXP scrolls to fall from beaten enemies. Still, better attributes will crop up to replace it. So, once Diligence begins appearing, it’ll be time to wind Wisdom down in favor of it.
Diligence increases the EXP gains for each kill in general without requiring the player to pick up scrolls or other collectibles. It can also be stacked up to +10 like Wisdom, so it’s no contest which attribute is better once Diligence arrives on the scene.

8Agility
Agility is exactly what it means; it gives the character’s attacks a speed boost. As it stacks up, it can make combos a tour-de-force that the enemy can’t overcome. Sluggish characters become contenders, and thealready speedy onesget truly wild.

That said, it’s not a win button. It can’t save the really slow ones like Goemon or Gyūki, even at +10. While the really fast ones could become harder to control. However, it can be a boon for any character stuck in between those extremes like Lianshi. Her attacks are great at crowd control, and the speed boost Agility gives her makes her nearly unstoppable.
7Prosperity
It’s all fine and dandy getting these attributes, though they don’t really matter if the playerdoesn’t have any weaponsto stick them on. The solution there is to attach and stack Prosperity. It increases the chances of a Weapon box falling from beaten foes.
Eventually, it’ll fill the character’s section up to the brim with weapons to boost, merge for attributes, or sell for gems. Once it’s stacked up to +10, and combined with the gold Procurement skill, the game will rain weapons like an explosion at an armory.

6Echo
For offense-heavy players, Echo is the Gold ability to go for. Once applied, it causes beaten foes to radiate an explosion. This can hit other enemies and help rack up the damage. It’s especially good in big crowds and works out for players of all types.
Close-range fighters can keep the pressure off of them by draining health from the rest of the crowd. Mid-range characters can control space more effectively, and long-range, projectile characters can zonk swarms before they even come close. Also, it can help increase the combo count, thus making combo-reliant attributes like Aggression, Bastion, and Bombast all the more effective.

5Bolt
Akin to games likeGenshin Impactor other fantasy series, there are a few Elemental attributes in the game. One of the best elements to get is Bolt, which stuns any struck enemies to leave them open to combos. It also does extra damage relative to the opponent’s max health.

Later in the game, players can even pick up an attribute called Tri-Element, that combines it with Flame and Ice, giving it extra stun and damage properties. Still, as nice as they are, there are two other attributes that are much more effective when combined with Bolt.
4Slay
If a character’s attack power seems low for their level, then the Slay attribute can fix them up. It increases the chances of the player killing peons in one hit, and heavily damaging officers and bosses. Stack it up to +10, and it becomes a near-guarantee.
In regularWarriors Orochi 3, it could be stacked onto other attributes like Wind or Bolt. InUltimate, those double-stacked skills crop up on their own later in the game. So, if it becomes hard to choose between Slay or Bolt, the game makes it easier by making Boltslay an option. That way, players can stun some enemies and instantly kill others.

3Wind
Bolt is great, yet it’s not the best Elemental attribute in the game. That would be Wind. It increases block damage done on enemies using the same relative principle as Bolt’s stun. So, if the player is stuck against an opponent that keeps blocking, they can still finish them off by plugging away at them with combos.
In turn, combo attributes crop up later in the game to simplify hard decisions. Don’t want to give up Wind for Bolt? Just equip Boltwind! Or Flamewind, or Icewind! Sadly, it’s not part of Tri-Element. But that just means the player can keep that over Bolt, and stack up the regular Wind skill, or Windslay to damage blocking enemies and kill open ones. As powerful as it is, there are two other attributes that are much more necessary for anyone and everyone in the game.

2Osmosis
Players will go far if they master all the Normal attacks and EX combos. Yet they have to get the hang of that Musou gauge soon enough. It fuels those big Musou super combo attacks, True Musou attacks, and mid-air specials. The more often they can keep that gauge filled, the more often they can clear crowds and beat hard bosses with those moves.

So, get Osmosis as soon as possible and stack it up each time. It makes the character absorb Musou from fallen foes. It even works when beating them with said Musou and special attacks. Once stacked up to +10, it can make low to average tier characters fantastic. Then, with high-tier characters like Cao Cao, Ayane, or Cai Wenji, players may never need to let go of the Musou button ever again. It just needs one more attributeto be truly overpowered.
