Reddit user SnailProphet decided to share how the names ofPokemon ScarletandVioletchange depending on the region of release. There are some interesting changes on the titles, though many are focusing on the way the title changes for the Spanish version of the game. In terms of the Spanish titles,Pokemon ScarletandVioletare instead called"Pokemon EscarlataandPurpura.“The German version of the games uses a similar “Purpur"titling, leading to some joking about the German and Spanish versions having more of a cat theme than the other releases. It is interesting to see how the naming ofPokemongames strikes up fan theories, as some are already debating whether the sequel games toPokemon ScarletandVioletwill be called “Infrared and Ultraviolet.” It is unlikely that fans will be hearing any news on sequels for some time though, considering the original games are not yet released.

Apart from the varying names ofPokemon ScarletandViolet, and the region the game is based on, fans are also getting hyped over the three new starters which were unveiled for the games.
