PlayStation’s recent State of Play featured several exciting announcements. The show opened with a trailer of thehighly-anticipatedResident Evil 4 Remake, and fans also got a glimpse at some PS VR2 titles, includingHorizon Call of the MountainandResident Evil Village.

Other noteworthy reveals includednew gameplay trailers forFinal Fantasy 16andStreet Fighter 6. Both games are scheduled to launch in 2023, withFinal Fantasy 16aiming for a summer release. Additionally, the show confirmed thatMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredwould come to PC on August 12, withMarvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Moraleslaunching on PC in Fall 2022. Sony acquired Nixxes Software in July last year and confirmed its involvement with these ports in the new trailer. The State of Play event also included a surprise announcement of an Xbox console exclusive coming to PlayStation.

Publisher Finji confirms thatTunicwill launch on PS5 and PS4 on June 21, 2025. This announcement comes alongside a new gameplay trailer debuted at the State of Play showcase.Tunicis made by Andrew Shouldice and a team of developers that helped create other popular indie games likeChicory: A Colorful Tale,Cuphead,Celeste,Night in the Woods, andDustforce.

Tunicreceived rave reviewsupon its release in March, with praise given for its art style and the sense of exploration. Many players also made comparisons toThe Legend of Zeldaseries. It launched as a day-one Xbox Game Pass title for both console and PC and was heavily featured at various Microsoft events.

Tunicnow comes out on PlayStation consoles a bit over six months after its initial release. Although, unlike its release on Xbox Game Pass, it doesn’t seem like Sony will addTunicto the catalog of games offered underPlayStation Plus Extra and Premium. It costs $29.99 on other platforms, so PlayStation customers will probably pay a similar price to purchase the game.

The recent State of Play was more eventful and noteworthy than previous events. It included many exciting AAA and indie announcements, in addition to a look at some PS VR2 titles. Sony clarified that first-party games will not be a part of this showcase beforehand, and they are anyway reserved for another event known as PlayStation Showcase, which generally takes place in September. So, fans will likely have to wait till September 2022 to see new footage from upcomingSony first-party gamessuch asMarvel’s Spider-Man 2and the multiplayer title set inThe Last of Usuniverse.

Tunicis available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S and is set to release for PS4 and PS5 on September 27.
