Not only is this device the perfect way to distract an enemy, but the video is one of the more funny and most ingenious clips created fromThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Two of the most inventive additions to theLegend of Zeldaseries are the Zonai devices and Link’s abilities found inTears of the Kingdom. Since the game’s launch earlier this year, players have created impressive vehicles and weapons, as well as practical machines that can help Link on his adventure to restore Hyrule to its former glory. OneTears of the Kingdomplayer even created the Batmobilein the game. And as cool as all these creations are, this latest contraption for torturing a poor Bokoblin is noteworthy as well.

Reddit user Huydeptrai0794 posted a clip of a smart machine that’s designed to keep enemies busy in the most hilarious way possible. The clip shows off a contraption that takes the general concept of using ameat arrow in Tears of the Kingdomto distract an enemy, except in this case, the machine forces the red Bokoblin on an endless chase, similar to a dog trying to catch its own tail. This clip brings a new meaning to the idea of motivating something with a “carrot and a stick.”

What makes this “prank machine” such a smart design is its simplicity. The player simply fused a piece of meat to a Long Stick, then fused the stick to a Construct Head. The Construct Head is designed to attack the nearest enemy, and in this case, it’s trying to attack the Bokoblin with the meat stick. The effect comes off as the Bokoblin chasing the meat, but in reality, it’s technically the other way around.Bokoblins inTears of the Kingdomare not smart or fast, which makes this contraption the perfect device to psychologically torture this enemy. It’s also worth noting that there are two Zonai Batteries on top of the Construct Head, so this distraction can last for quite some time.

When the game first launched, someZelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayers were torturing Korokswith Zonai devices by rocketing them up into space, surrounding them with fire, etc. If this Bokoblin clip gains popularity, perhaps the newTears of the Kingdomtrend will be creating the most inventive ways to psychologically torture Link’s enemies.
