The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomhas just released patch 1.2.0. The game has been out for only a few months, and it continues to be enjoyed by many Switch owners.Tears of the Kingdomhas received a lot of positive feedbackfor the way it improves onBreath of the Wild’s concepts and game world. Still, as with most games, patches are necessary to maintain balance and enjoyment, as well as fix any bugs that may affect the gameplay.

While some exploits and errors offer a humorous experience, there are some that completely change the difficulty of the game either by making it too hard or too easy. Such is the case with oneTears of the Kingdomexploitthat gives players an infinite number of items. Most of these glitches have been remedied via previous patches, although it is a quite common occurrence to see updates creating new problems to fix. However, with the latest 1.2.0 patch, some more issues have been resolved.

Update 1.2.0 provides some fixes which aren’t detailed completely but are said to improve the gameplay experience ofThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Players may be happy to know that a fix was provided for those who could not progress beyond a certain point in some main quests. Quite a few quests were affected by this issue, and upon installation of the patch, players will now be able to proceed. In addition, by launching the game from certain Switch News channels, players can receive in-game items as a reward.

While the aforementioned fixes were the most notable in the update, the vagueness of the patch notes may leave players uncertain about what else has been changed in the game. One bigglitch withinTears of the Kingdomallows Link to clip below the mapwhen using the Ancient Blade. While not very common, some of these problems still happen from time to time resulting in a frustrating run, and it doesn’t seem like they have been addressed in Update 1.2.0.

Still, even with the issues currently in the game,Tears of the Kingdomcontinues to dominate sales charts. Many Switch owners want to experience exploring the new areas to be found in Hyrule, and new secrets, glitches, and creations continue to be discovered. Players will have to wait to see what improvements future patches may bring to the game, but for now,Zeldafans seem to be thoroughly enjoying the game even with its issues.
